In the wake of the car’s global launch in March, BMW has confirmed that the S-class will be available for US buyers in early 2019.
This will be followed by a nationwide rollout in late 2020, and a new model for the US market in 2021.
The new model will feature a revised interior, which includes a more compact design and a more aerodynamic package, as well as the option to go electric.
The car will also feature a new powertrain that BMW calls the E-Power.
BMW is expected to announce the E. Power later this year.
